The Rev Douglas Pope, pastor of the church will conduct the services. Burial will be in the Arni Memorial cemetery in Lancaster. Mrs. Webster and her son were found Saturday in their one-acre farm pond southeast of Lancaster. Officials reported that the drownings have been ruled accidental. It is believed that the boy had wandered out onto the ice-covered pond when the ice broke and he fell in. They believe that Mrs. Webster went into the pond to save her son, and they both drowned. Connie Jeannette Webster was born June 10, 1953 in Kirksville, the daughter of Thomas and Ethel Rood Saulsbury. On Sept 7, 1973 at Mark, Iowa, she was married to Garry Webster who survives. Also surviving are her parents of Lancaster; on sister, Cheryl Lynn Saulsbury of Lancaster; one brother, Robert Saulsbury of Lancaster; nine aunts and six uncles. Mrs. Webster was a 1971 graduate of the Lancaster High School and attended NMSU one year. She was employed in Kirksville for the Southwestern Bell Telephone Company for a year. She was a member of the Methodist Church. Clinton Eric Webster was born April 7, 1975 in Kirksville, the son of Garry and Connie Jeannette Saulsbury Webster. Surviving are his father of Lancaster; grandparents Thomas and Ethel Saulsbury of Lancaster and Eugene and Mary Lou Webster of Glenwood and a great-grandmother, Helen Webster of Glenwood. He was preceded in death by great-grandparents, Clarence and Eva Rood, Ace and Leona Saulsbury, Roy Webster and John and Emma Schmitter. The bodies are at the Norman Funeral Home in Lancaster where they will remain until 11 o'clock Tuesday morning when they will be taken to the church. Bearers will be John Kelso, Clint Cochran, Jim Morgan, Ron Whitacre, Mike Shephard and Gene Brummer. Kirksville Mo Express & News, Monday April 3, 1978
