Description	:	Constance 'Connie' Cox passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at her home, on May 24, 2017 at 83 years of age, exactly 13 years from the day her husband Gary Cox had passed. Connie was born as Constance Alberta Mehew, on October 8, 1933 in Edmonton, Alberta to Levi John Mehew and Annie Parr Mehew. Read More	Constance 'Connie' Cox passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at her home, on May 24, 2017 at 83 years of age, exactly 13 years from the day her husband Gary Cox had passed. Connie was born as Constance Alberta Mehew, on October 8, 1933 in Edmonton, Alberta to Levi John Mehew and Annie Parr Mehew. Connie grew up in Raymond, where she met the love of her life, Gary Cox whom she married in 1952. They were later blessed with three sons and a daughter. Connie was always known for being a hard worker, who could motivate others to do the same. She worked at the BMO bank in Raymond, a head chef at the Raymond Home, a proud owner of Jiffy restaurant in Raymond and bookkept her and Gary's company Cox trucking, which later was known as GW Cox Construction Ltd. Connie and her family moved to Lethbridge in 1981 to expand their company, which they owned for a busy 50 years. Connie was deeply involved with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints all her life, where she was a visiting teacher and worked closely with the Relief Society. Connie a snowbird for much of her life, heading to their winter home In Yuma, Arizona, and in the summer commuting to their home in Wardner, BC. She will always be remembered for hosting family events at the cabin. Connie always made time for her children and grandchildren. She had 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild, all whom she adored. Connie will be greatly missed every day, and remembered for all her accomplishments, her kind and generous nature and for being an amazing mother and grandmother. Funeral Services held on Saturday June 3, 2017 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Northside Chapel, Lethbridge. Interment to follow at the Temple Hill Cemetery - Raymond.
