On March 12, 1936 she was united in marriage to Homer Maynard at Wahoo. Her husbands occupation with the railroad caused the family to reside in several locations in Nebraska. Read More	Suggested edit: Constance Iona Maynard was born at Beatrice, Nebraska on July 3, 1915. Her death occurred at Aurora, Nebraska on June 21, 1980 at the age of 64 years, 11 months and 18 days. As a young girl the family moved to Fremont. On March 12, 1936 she was united in marriage to Homer Maynard at Wahoo. Her husbands occupation with the railroad caused the family to reside in several locations in Nebraska. They had resided in Wahoo, Fremont, Beaver Crossing, Davenport and Geneva. They resided in Geneva at the time of his retirement in 1969. In 1975 they moved to Aurora where she has since resided. Her husband preceded her in death on March 29, 1979. At an early age Mrs. Maynard joined the United Methodist Church. She was also preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Lorene Rogers and a half sister, Therese Hillyer and one half brother, Henry Hillyer. Her survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Ervin (Celesta) Griess and Mrs. Dan (Betty) Pokorney both of Aurora; one half brother, Stephen Hillyer a civilian employee of the United States Navy, stationed in Guam; four half sisters, Mrs. Iona Schwartz of Daytona Beach, Florida, Mrs. Launavee Pinter of Gillette, Wyoming, Mrs. Burdetta VanKirk of Dickinson, North Dakota and Mrs. Winifred Jankawski of Orlando, Florida; 6 grandchildren and other relatives and close friends.
