Connie was born on Nov. 27, 1922, in Ames, IA, to William and Elma (Rogen) Arnold. In 1940, she graduated from high school in Boone, IA. She married Bob Lindmark at Grandview Lutheran Church in Des Moines, IA. on Mar. 30, 1947. She was a homemaker, a telephone operator during World War II, and a clerk for the Boone Community School District. Connie and Bob were former members of Augustana Lutheran Church in Boone where they were active members serving as church secretary, financial secretary and member of the church council. Connie also enjoyed sewing, knitting, quilting and button collecting. For many years, including this past year, she knit sweaters and caps for children in need. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bob in 1988, and her sister Eudora Anderson. She is survived by her three children, Larry (Kristen Schlauderaff) of Red Wing, MN; Chris (Terry Hargrove) of Tucson, AZ; and Beth (John) Peterson of Kennewick, WA. She is also survived by her sister, Marilyn Weipert of Columbia Heights, MN, eight grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at Augustana Lutheran Church in Boone later this summer.
