However, there is a record for Celinda Ames at Greenwood Cemetery in Block 140. Three young children (Ina ("Ira"), Myrtle and Infant "Mabel") are linked to Oscar Simon Ames and Celinda Melissa (Thomas) Ames as parents. Perhaps the G. in G. S. should be O, and M.C. could be the reversal of C. M. Greenwood Cemetery has four entries (all in Block 140) for children of G. S. and M. C. Ames. 1. IRA AMES - son, aged 10y 1m 16d; b. 8 Jul 1911 A memorial for Ina Fae Ames (a daughter) (1901-1911) has the exact dates of Ira in the Greenwood cemetery book, so I assume it is an error. I sent an edit to correct that. 2. Myrtle M. - daughter; 6 Apr 1887 - 13 Jun 1888 Myrtle (1887-1888) is also linked to Oscar and Celinda. 3. Infant - daughter; aged 4 years; b. 26 Apr 1896 Infant is named Mabel Helen Ames on a memorial (1892-1896), and she is also linked to Oscar and Celinda. 4. Cora Ames - daughter, aged 5 years d. 1873 Sep 14 Cora is also listed as a child of G.S. and M.C., but a birth year of about 1868 cannot be correct if Celinda (b. 1866) was her mother. Perhaps the death year is a typo and should be 1893 as 1883 still would not be likely for a birth year of 1878 for Celinda.
