Mrs. Cora May Stalter, 63, of Rt. 1, Hope, driver of one vehicle, died of multiple internal injuries suffered in the crash, Sunday night about 6:15 p.m.. Gladwin Hospital authorities said. Both cars ended up on the west shoulder of the highway, Mrs. Stalter was driving south and Vannest north. Both were alone in their cars. The accident is still under investigation by the Sheriff's department. SERVICES TODAY FOR CORA STALTER Services were held today (Wednesay) at 2 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home for Mrs. Cora M. Stalter, 63, who died Sunday from injuries sustained in an auto accident last Thursday. Born in Rosebush on Dec. 18, 1904, she moved from Wheeler to Beaverton and then to Hope 14 years ago. The former Cora Burr, she was married to Dale Stalter on August 11, 1923, in Mt. Pleasant. He preceded her in death in August 1967. Surviving .are one daughter, Mrs, Donna. J. Yerke, of Beaverton; her mother, Mrs. Allie Burr, of Beaverton; three; brothers, Lester, Earl and Ivan Burr, all of Beaverton; and two sisters, Mrs. Margarette Yager and Mrs. Bernice Mercer, both of Beaverton.
