The Allen County, Kentucky native was born Monday, March 31, 1913, a daughter of the late Joe Napier and Bertha Temples Napier. She was a member of Rough Hill Missionary Baptist Church for approximately 80 years, and was a retired nurse's aide for Macon County General Hospital. On August 13, 1933 she was united in marriage to Carlis Stinson, who preceded her in death on November 28, 1962. She is survived by 3 daughters and 2 sons-in-law, Virginia Lee, Westmoreland, TN; Linda and Ralph Moore, Jeffersonville, IN; Teresa and Dewayne Crowe, Glasgow, KY; 2 sons and a daughter-in-law, Richard and Aline Stinson, Scottsville, KY; and Roger Stinson, Westmoreland, TN; 6 brothers, Carvil Napier, Bowling Green, KY; Cornwell Lee Napier, Indianapolis, IN; James Harold Napier, Lafayette, TN; Billy Thomas Napier, New Palestine, IN; Jimmy Napier and Danny Napier, both of Scottsville, KY; 3 sisters, Wilma White, Lovington, IL; Mildred Kringle, White House, TN; and Barbara Wickwire, of Pennsylvania; 12 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by a son, Charles Glendale Stinson, a daughter, Sandra Kay Stinson, 5 brothers, 2 sisters, 2 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Cora Pauline Stinson were conducted at 11:00 AM Monday, March 13, 2006 at Alexander-Goad Funeral Home with Eld. Guthrie Thompson officiating. Burial was in Rough Hill Cemetery in Allen County, KY. Pallbearers were Chris McIntyre, Kevin Lee, Neal Stinson, Daniel Stinson, Kyle Lee, Michael Presley, Tim Napier, and Wally Trigg.
