He married Albert Brandenburg on March 16, 1911 and he died in 1933. They had a son Ralph and a daughter Doris. "She moved to Los Angeles in 1940 to live with her son and daughter. She was married there in February 1941 to William Rider. She suffered a stroke in 1945, and was a semi-invalid until her death. Surviving are her husband, one son Ralph; one daughter , Mrs. Clifford Porter; and one granddaughter Jan Brandenburg all of Los Angeles; and three brothers, Harland and Harold Wheeler both of Lexington and Floyd Wheeler, Portland, Oregon."
