Description	:	St. Matthews, Dec. 26 -Mrs. Cordelia Wilson Pooser Fair, 83, widow of Dr. H.N. Fair, died at her home Sunday night after an illness of more than a year. She had been confined to her bed for several months. She was a member of St. Paul's Methodist church and a woman of sterling character. She was one of the oldest residents of this town, coming here from Orangeburg county soon after her marriage to Doctor Fair. She is survived by the following sons: J. She is also survived by two sisters, Miss Vinnie Pooser, Orangeburg; Miss Annie Pooser, Columbia, and several grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at St. Paul's Methodist church Monday afternoon, conducted by the Rev. W.A. Beckham, pastor of St. Paul's. Interment followed in the old Methodist Church cemetery.
