McCraw Retired school teacher GREENVILLE – Corinne Shields McCraw, 95, of 3 Hoke Smith Blvd., Rolling Green Village, died Monday, Sept. 10, 2001, in St. Francis Hospital, Greenville. Born in Chero-kee Springs, Mrs. McCraw and her husband, the late French Z. McCraw, had been married for 67 years at the time of his death. She was the daughter of the late Eli Shields and the late Tallulah Sarah Jane Paris Shields. Mrs. McCraw was a retired school teacher and played the organ at different churches through the years. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Greenville. Surviving are a son, Tommy F. McCraw of Gettysburg, Pa.; daughter-in-law, Janice H. McCraw of Gettysburg; granddaughters, Tamra Corinne McCraw of Washington, D.C., and Ruth M. Burke of Dallas, Tex.; grandsons, David Stewart of Fairfield, Pa., and Charles Kent McCraw of Duncan; great-granddaughters, Nichole Lynn Stewart and Dana Stewart; and great-grandsons, Ian McCraw and Conor McCraw. It was Mrs. McCraw's wish to have a graveside service. It will be Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at Oakland Cemetery in Gaffney. The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends Saturday from 1-2:15 p.m. at Shuford-Hatcher Funeral Home in Gaffney. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church of Greenville Music Fund, 200 S. Washington St., Greenville, S.C. 29601; or to Limestone Presbyterian Church Music Fund, 101 E. Jefferies St., Gaffney, S.C. 29340
