Description	:	Death of Mrs. Henry Houston. Mrs. Cornelia Ann Houston, wife of Mr. Henry Houston, and mother of Dr. W. B. Houston, died at 4:30 yesterday morning at the home of Dr. Houston. She had been getting feeble for a long time, and as she was 72 years of age her death was long anticipated. Funeral services were held this morning at the residence. The pall bearers were W. H. She had been getting feeble for a long time, and as she was 72 years of age her death was long anticipated. Funeral services were held this morning at the residence. The pall bearers were W. H. Phifer, W. S. Lee, S. O. Blair, G. M. Beasley, L. R. Helms and A. W. Boyte. The deceased was born in Sandy Ridge township and was the youngest daughter of the late Amos Stevens, and sister of the late A. F. Stevens, being the last of the family. She was a member of the Methodist church for practically all of her life and was a woman of noble, retiring christian character. She lived a quiet, gentle life, best appreciated by those who knew her best. She was married in 1861, and is survived by her husband, who is himself very feeble. For 30 odd years they lived in Darlington, bot a few years ago came to Monroe. Only two children survive, Dr. W. B. Houston and Dr. Frank Houston of St. Louis.
