Cornelia Post, daughter of Cornelias and Jeanette (De Vries) Tuimstra, was born March 5, 1911, in rural Boyden. She was raised in Boyden. She married Egbert Post on November 23, 1936. They farmed in rural Hull until they moved into town in 1968. Mr. Post died in 1969. She became a resident of Pleasant Acres Care Center on May 7, 2001. She was a homemaker and worked at Heynen Drapery in Hull. She was a member of the First Reformed Church, where she belonged to the Senior Ladies Society. She enjoyed crocheting, baking and reading. Survivors include nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Egbert Post; seven sisters; and an infant brother.
