Description	:	Services for Cornelius (Neal) Roose, 80, of Pella, who died August 5, 1992 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, were held August 8 at Peoria Christian Reformed Church. Interment was in Peoria Cemetery, Peoria. The Rev. Siebert Kramer officiated at the services. Music was provided by Marge Fynaardt, organist. Pallbearers were Lee, Linn, Craig and Calvin Roose, Jeff Van Donselaar, Philip Hol, and Duane Van Gorp. He was a member of Peoria Christian Reformed Church and had also been a member of Peoria Christian School Board, Peoria Male Chorus and Senior Men's Society. He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Sherma Jean Van Donselaar; one granddaughter, Lorna Jean Van Donselaar; one brother, John C. Sr., and five sisters, Jeanetta, Dena and Wilma Roose, Margaret Nieuwland, and Ada Kats. He is survived by his wife, Anna, of Pella; two sons, Lawrence and Carl, both of Pella; two daughters, Mrs. Earl (Marcia) Van Gorp of Pella and Mrs. Ken (Rosie) Hol of New Sharon; 14 grandchildren; son-in- law Ralph Van Donselaar of Cedar; and one brother, Wilbur of Pella.
