Description	:	Bryant was the son of Dearborn Ethan Crawford and Rachel T. Cole. He served in the Civil War, enlisting as a Private on 13 Aug 1862 at the age of 24. He enlisted in Company E, 14th Infantry Regiment NH on 23 Sept 1862. He was promoted to Full Corporal on 1 Jun 1864. Bryant received a disability discharge from Company E, 14th Infantry Regiment NH on June 7, 1865 at Manchester, NH. About 1859 he had married Charlotte Melissa Stevens, daughter of John and Mary Stevens. They were probably married in Thetford, VT. That is where they lived in 1850 and 1860. A couple years later they had moved to Manchester, NH. Their children were Walter Edgar, Estelle Melissa, Etta May, William H, Ella Cora, and George E. Charlotte died in childbirth after George was born in Aug 1873. There was also a stillborn child buried on Aug 21, 1873. George survived but his twin died. On July 18, 1874 in Manchester he married a Jennie. Her last name isn't known. The marriage record doesn't appear to be online. It is only documented on their divorce certificate. In May 1876, in Hillsborough County, Bryant received a divorce from Jennie for extreme cruelty. On Oct 26, 1876 in Manchester he married Susan Minnie (Hutchinson) Truell, daughter of Alexander Horace Hutchinson and Betsey Smith Truell. It was her second marriage. She was listed as widowed, but she was divorced from Sumner R. Truell. She had two sons with Truell, Charles P and Alfred H; both lived with their father. They had a son, Harold Henry, and possibly a son Bryant E. Bryant was predeceased by first wife, Charlotte, in Aug 1873; infant child in Aug 1873; daughters Etta May in Oct 1873 and Ella Cora in Dec 1881. Age: 52yrs 11mos 1dy Cause of Death: Consumption - Chronic Diarrhea Note: His death certificate says he was buried in Manchester. He was buried here on April 14, 1891
