Description	:	Henry Lee Limbach was born to his loving parents Joseph Michael "Joe" and Angela Caroline (Wieneke) Limbach on Wednesday September 8, 1948 at North Bend, Dodge County Nebraska. Henry attended elementary school and high school at North Bend. Henry was drafted via Selective Service into the US Army on Saturday March 29, 1969. Henry received his basic training at Fort Lewis near Tacoma, Pierce County Washington. Henry departed for Vietnam on Friday August 22, 1969. Read More	Henry Lee Limbach was born to his loving parents Joseph Michael "Joe" and Angela Caroline (Wieneke) Limbach on Wednesday September 8, 1948 at North Bend, Dodge County Nebraska. Henry attended elementary school and high school at North Bend. Henry was drafted via Selective Service into the US Army on Saturday March 29, 1969. Henry received his basic training at Fort Lewis near Tacoma, Pierce County Washington. Henry departed for Vietnam on Friday August 22, 1969. Henry was stationed with the 11th Light Infantry Brigade, 4th Battalion, 3rd Infantry, D Company. Limbach experienced a traumatic event which resulted in loss of his life on Sunday November 16, 1969 "Died through hostile action, small arms fire" at South Vietnam Quang Ngai province. Henry was a Corporal. Henry was awarded these commendations: a Purple Heart, Combat Infantryman Badge, Marksmanship Badge, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Army Presidential Unit Citation, Vietnam Gallantry Cross, and the Army Good Conduct Medal. Henry sadly passed that day at the age of 21 years, 2 months, 8 days which does not include his last day, he lived a total of 7739 days. Henry's funeral service was held at the St. Charles Catholic Church of North Bend. Henry was interred in the Woodland Cemetery with full military honors provided by the US Army. Moser Funeral Chapel was in charge of his arrangements. Henry's information was provided from researching many resources and my memory. This biography was created as an honor to Henry by Loren R.
