Description	:	Mr. Jack Bradley Jarrett of 2964 Huntington Trail, Cascade, VA went to be with his Lord at Memorial Hospital of Martinsville in Martinsville, VA. He was the oldest child of the late Jackson Wade Jarrett, Jr and Ida Mae Warren Jarrett. He was a member of the graduating class of 1943 from Draper High School in Eden, NC. Read More	Mr. Jack Bradley Jarrett of 2964 Huntington Trail, Cascade, VA went to be with his Lord at Memorial Hospital of Martinsville in Martinsville, VA. He was the oldest child of the late Jackson Wade Jarrett, Jr and Ida Mae Warren Jarrett. He was a member of the graduating class of 1943 from Draper High School in Eden, NC. He served in the Marine Corps stationed in the South Pacific during World War II. He retired in 1990 from Fieldcrest Mills after 43 years of service. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Draper in Eden and served the Lord there as a soloist, deacon, Sunday school teacher and chairman of the Missions Committee until his death. He was a charter member of the Cascade Ruritan Club and served on the Brosville-Cascade Fire Department Board for several years. He is survived by his wife of 53 years Frances Gilbert Jarrett, son Jack Bradley Jarrett Jr. (Jay) and wife, Sherri Jarrett of Woodstock, VA, daughter Susan Jarrett Schlacter and husband, Jed Schlacter of Long Island, NY, four grandchildren Jack Bradley Jarrett III (Brad), Laura Kathleen Jarrett, Meredith Hope Schlacter and Scott Jarrett Schlacter. He is also survived by two brothers Bill Jarrett and wife, Eva Jarrett of Belmont, NC, and Nick Jarrett and wife Betty Jarrett of Cleveland, OH, two sisters Doris Jarrett of Eden and Mary Frances Ponder and husband, Lenny Ponder of Simpsonville, NC, special cousin, John Hodges and wife Ruth Hodges of Eden, special niece and her family Gloria Young Chandler and husband Jim Chandler of Roanoke, VA and their children Scott Chandler of Blacksburg, VA and Shelley Chandler of Durham, NC as well as many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services were held at the First Baptist Church of Draper in Eden, with the Reverend Brian Cochram officiating. Burial was in the Jarrett Family Cemetery in Cascade.
