Craig Eldon Mott was born on July 5, 1950, in Iowa Falls, Iowa the eldest child born to Victor and Evelyn (Klein) Mott. Craig began his education in "Elk Run" Country School and then attended schools in Iowa Falls where he graduated with the Class of 1968. He then attended Ellsworth Community College for two years. He enlisted into the National Guard "The Red Bull" 34th Infantry Division reaching the rank of Sergeant. He served from 1969-1975. During high school, he worked at Irv's West Side 66 Service Station. In 1971, he went to work for Lloyd and Don Lindaman at the Lindaman Monument Company. In 1984, Craig purchased Don's half of the business. He operated Lindaman-Mott Memorial Company until late 2011. Craig was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Alden, American Legion Post #188, a member of the National I Club and North Central I Club, along with numerous other community organizations. Those remaining to cherish his memory include his wife Pam; daughter Mandy; grandson Tristan; granddaughter Caleigh; two brothers Tim (Vergilee) and Ted all of Iowa Falls; along with many other relatives and friends. Craig was preceded in death by his parents and one sister Kristina Mott.
