Craig Louis Korkow was born May 25, 1938, in Huron, SD, to Louis and Renetta (Henning) Korkow. After graduating from Bancroft High School in 1956, he attended SDSU. During this time, Craig also worked for the SD Highway Department. In 1959, he started working for the Community State Bank at Lake Preston. Later that year, he joined the US Army National Guard and following training, returned to the bank. On May 20, 1960, Craig married Donna Brown. The couple had four children. In 1970, Craig began working at the Adrian State Bank, Adrian, MN. He worked at the First State Bank of Rushmore in 1981, and three years later began working for the First National Bank of Wilmont. He married Mary (Miller) Rother on January 18, 1986. From 1987 to 1996, Craig owned and operated Korkow General Agency in Adrian, MN. After managing the Adrian Golf Course, he moved to Las Vegas, NV, where he worked at the Armed Forces Bank and worked for American Realty as a real estate agent. He moved to Sioux Falls in 2000, and began working for Town and Country Realty, where he was currently employed. Craig loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing and pheasant hunting. He was an avid fan of golf and years ago hit a hole-in-one at the course in Worthington. He also loved to travel and particularly enjoyed trips to Hawaii, the Caribbean and fishing trips into the northern boundary waters. Grateful for having shared his life are his wife, Mary Korkow, Sioux Falls, SD; sons, Curtis (Rita) Korkow, Rapid City, SD, Brad (Donna) Korkow, Fon du Lac, WI; daughters, Julie (LeAllen) Endres, Watertown, SD, Sandy Korkow and special friend, Greg Stockholm, Springfield, SD; step-son, Tony Rother, Madison, WI; step-daughter, Sarah (Chris) Hatalla, Woodbury, MN; eight grandchildren; his mother, Renetta Korkow, Brookings, SD; sister, Karen Korkow, Brookings, SD, and her daughters, Elizabeth Gabriella and Harmony Horton, mother-in-law, Sophie Miller, and many special family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his father. Funeral Services will be held at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 3801 E. 26th Street. The interment will be at the First Lutheran Cemetery, Brookings, SD. Arrangements by Miller Funeral Home.
