Craven Stream, an old resident of this part of Seward county and later word came that he had passed away. Mr. Stream was born in Licking county, Ohio, June 19th, 1844, and died January 15, 1908, aged 63 years, 6 months and 26 days.m He moved with is parents of Lynn county, Iowa, when 9 years old. On Jan. 28th, 1870 he was united in marriage to Miss Jennie Brown, and moved to Seward county, Neb., in March 1881. In 1902 he moved to York county where he has since resided. Mr. Stream was converted at the age of 19 years, and joined with the English Lutheran church at Milford. During his resdidence in this county he united to the Methodist church at Milford. He took great interest in church work, being Sunday School Supt., almost constantly for 25 years, and died as he lived, ready to meet his Master. He was held in highesteem by all who knew him; was a kind husband and loving father. A wife and five children are left to mourn his loss. The children are Mrs. Walter Berry, M.B.Stream, J.G.Stream, A.C.Stream, all of York county, and Mrs. J. Dunnegan of Shenandoah, Iowa. They were all present at his bedside. Rev.
