Born on December 15, 1939, in Greenville County, he was the son of the late Remus Franklin Brock and Elizbeth Chavis Brock. He attended Clemson College, worked in Charleston, SC, married and was stationed with the US Army at Fort Meade, MD, during the Cuban Missile Crisis. He was also stationed at Kure Beach, NC. Born on December 15, 1939, in Greenville County, he was the son of the late Remus Franklin Brock and Elizbeth Chavis Brock. Crayton was a member of Seneca Baptist Church, where he served on the Building Committee of the new church building in the 1970's. He is survived by his wife of 58 years., Janice Adams Brock and his three children - Sherrie Arnold (David) of Alexandria, VA, Kimberly Shiverdecker (David) of Moore, and Allan Brock (Sharon) of Greer; six grandchildren - James Walker, Michael Walker, Bret Walker, Trevor Brock, Lauren Brock and Madeline Arnold; sister, Betty Pickelsimer (Henry "Pick”) of Fair Play; twin brother Carlus Brock (Sally) of Seneca; and many nieces and nephews. Private graveside services at Oconee Memorial Park.
