Surviving are his wife Anne Sikes Stoneman; a son Ned Harrison Stoneman, Roanoke; his parents, Mr and Mrs Sidney Stoneman, Check; two brothers, Eldon Stoneman, Galax and Robert Stoneman, Martinsville; a sister, Mrs Henry Carnell, Check. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 11:30am at Oakey's by the Rev James Allison. Graveside services will be at 3pm in Galax.
