Description	:	Curtis was born on the family farm northwest of Fremont. He graduated from Fremont High School and served in the U.S. Army from 1946 to 1948. He and his brother Sheldon were partners for 35 years in Christensen Bros. Construction Co. They built many homes in Fremont and the surrounding area. In 1978 they started C-B Manufacturing, a producer of farm equipment and wind generators. Curtis died of a heat attack while working on a wind generator near Kiowa, Kansas.
