The Revs. George Cashwell and Bob Midgette will officiate. The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 this evening, July 7, 2001 in the Kornegay Funeral Home, Lugoff-Elgin Chapel. Born in Blaney, he was the son of the late Leslie P. and Lillian Watts Brown. He was a member of Highway Pentecostal Holiness Church where he was a member of the "Keenagers" and the Men's Ministry. He was an Associate at the Two-Notch Road Wal-Mart, Columbia. Surviving are wife, Grace Long Brown; daughter, Robin E. Brown of Barnwell; son, Victor T. Brown of Charlotte; grandchildren, Sharon E. McCartha, Victor T. Brown Jr., and Mandy Mimms Brown; one great-grandson, Dalton McCartha; sisters, Elise McLeod of Lugoff; Ophelia Long of Camden; brother, Maxcy P. Brown of Jenkinsville; half sister, Madge Hammonds of Columbia; half brother, Rudolph Bradley of Aiken. He was predeceased by brothers, Leslie Brown, Thomas Brown and Lester Brown.
