Description	:	Cynthia A (Robbins) Loomis was born December 21, 1837 in Perry, Ohio and departed this life November 23, 1923 after an illness of several weeks at the home of her daughter, Mrs. C.E. Wampler. She died at the age of 85 years, 11 months, and 2 days. All that loving hearts could do was done for her. She was married to T.W. Loomis December 4, 1858, in Sandusky City, Ohio. Read More	Cynthia A (Robbins) Loomis was born December 21, 1837 in Perry, Ohio and departed this life November 23, 1923 after an illness of several weeks at the home of her daughter, Mrs. C.E. Wampler. She died at the age of 85 years, 11 months, and 2 days. All that loving hearts could do was done for her. She was married to T.W. Loomis December 4, 1858, in Sandusky City, Ohio. To this union three children were born, Charles Harper Loomis, who preceeded her to his heavenly home, Mrs May Wampler of Walnut, Ks., and Frank Loomis of Pasadena, Californis. She is also survived by one sister, Mrs. L.A. Curtis of Woodstock, Illinois, and five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Two grandchildren have passed away. She came to Kansas about forty-five years ago and settled on a farm north of Walnut. She was converted and joined the Methodist Episcopal Church many years ago and her life has been devoted to the service of her Master. Her gentleness and her beautiful christian life will always be remembered. Here where she lived for so many years she leaves many dear friends who have enjoyed her home and kind hospitality. She was always anxious to help amd serve where she was needed. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon, November 25, at the Methodist Church conducted by her former pastor, Rev. J.J. Brodhead of Girard and assisted by Rev. J. R. Rusk. Interment was made in the Walnut Cemetery.
