Description	:	Cynthia Finley Gregg aged 86 years, one of the oldest and most widely known citizens of this community passed away Tuesday morning at 5:30 o'clock at her home near here following an illness of influenza complications. She was stricken with influenza during the holidays and recovered sufficiently to be about home, but gradually her health failed and last Thursday complications developed. Heart trouble was the direct cause of death. Mrs. Gregg was born Nov. 17, 1842 near Cohen's church, the daughter of John Fulton Finley and Emily Stout Finley. On Sept 10, 1868 she was married to James Madison Gregg and to this union six children were born. They resided for a few years on the home farm near Buffalo but for more than 55 years had lived on the same farm near Senecaville. Mrs. Gregg was an active member of the Senecaville Presbyterian Church, a kind an considerate neighbor, a loving and devoted mother and was cheerful until the end. Her many friends in Guernsey and Noble county are grieved by her death. On May 5, 1924 her husband died. He was a prosperous farmer and stock and wool buyer. Three children preceded Mrs. Gregg in death, Mrs. Eva Corbett, J.E. Gregg, and Mrs. Louella Rogers. Three children survive, Mrs. Stella Laughlin, Senecaville; J.B. Gregg, Cambridge, and C.
