Cynthia then married Russel Rufus GOODWIN. They may or may not have divorced at about 1885. They certainly appear to have been separated at this time. Russel, she and Jason lived together until that time and Jason took over Russel's farm. Russel's Memorial #117779680. Cynthia was the daughter of Asa PRINDLE and Betsey DUDLEY. There is no known burial for Asa, but Betsey PRINDLE is memorial #75385830. Cyntha married Russel Rufus GOODWIN on Feb. 9, 1867 in Beloit, Rock, WI per an affidavit in Cynthia's widows pension papers. Even though her name is Cynthia on the headstone, it was spelled Cyntha in the pension papers, her divorce decree, on her marriage certificate, the 1900 Federal and 1905 State censuses. She did divorce Russell GOODWIN for desertion and cruel treatment. Her divorce was granted Dec. 14, 1887. She changed her name back to BURSELL at that time. Her maiden name was PRINDLE, daughter of Asa PRINDLE and Betsey DUDLEY.
