Coroner Moore gave as his opinion that the man had died from an attack of heart failure, having found that he had been suffering from the complaint a short time before his death. There not being any immediate relatives in the house, the personal effects belonging to the deceases were taken in charge by the coroner and turned over to the probate court to await the appointment of an administrator, who will take possession as soon as appointed. There were some deeds, personal notes and two silver watches and a gold one. The entire estate will probably be worth between $700 and $800 death notice-not and abstract Urbana Daily Democrat 22-Jan-1915 pg 1 Dr. David H Moore, county coroner, was called to Westville, Friday morning to investigate the date of Cyrus Wilson, an unmarried man about 65 years old, who was found dead in bed about eleven o'clock Friday morning at his home. Mr. Wilson had been in good health and was around the business part of the village Thursday night in apparently his usual health. He had suffered a slight stroke of paralysis or something similar about a week ago and was in the best of health. Albert Fromme, of St. Paris, a well known undertaker, had come to the village to conduct a funeral and went to the home of Mr. Wilson, who had for sometime conducted a feed and livery barn and engaged in the work of training horses. Not finding the man up, Mr. Fromme put up his horses and went away. Coming back to feed about noon, Mr. Fromme not seeing any sings of life about the place became suspicious and securing the presence of Mr. Wilson's brother, James, went to the house and forced the door open. Mr. Wilson was found cold in death in bed and the undertaker stated that he had evidently died early in the night judging from the condition of the body. Dr. Moore was called immediately and left Urbana about one o'clock. The deceased was unmarried and had lived alone on the property he owned since the death of his father, some four or five years ago. Besides a brother, James, in Westville, there is another brother, Frank and sister Mrs. Wesley Steinberger, residing in Elwood, PA. The funeral arrangements will be completed and announced later.
