Lindley; born in Orange county, Ind., May 26, 1848; removed with his parents to Parke County, in 1865; married to Rachel Cloud, of Hamilton county, 1876, with whom he lived until Aug 11, 1882, when she died, leaving two sons, Alvah and Orin. Cyrus soon after the death of his wife, lost his health by exposure incident to railroad life, since which time disease has made gradual, but sure work.
