Description	:	Cyrus Whynot On Tuesday, Nov. 15th, Crus Wynot a respected citizen of New Germany, passed away at the age of ninety years and six months. Mr. Wynot was one of the pioneers of New Germany. He came here fifty-three years ago from Buckfield, Queens Co., and facing many of the hardships of that time made himself a home. Read More	Cyrus Whynot On Tuesday, Nov. 15th, Crus Wynot a respected citizen of New Germany, passed away at the age of ninety years and six months. Mr. Wynot was one of the pioneers of New Germany. He came here fifty-three years ago from Buckfield, Queens Co., and facing many of the hardships of that time made himself a home. In spite of his old age he was active and his mind was clear up to within a few days of his death. He was a conservative in politics and took an interest in the coming election. He was a Baptist in religion and had been baptised more than sixty years ago at Greenfield, Queens Co. His wife, who was Elizabeth Nugler, died some years ago. He leaves one son William Wynot of New Albany, Ann. Co. and five daughters, Mrs. Joseph Wynot of New Germany and Mrs. W.N. Estey of New Germany, with whom he lived. There are twenty grand children and seven great grand children. The funeral on Saturday was attended by Revs. D.N. McQuarrie and A.J. Reynolds. (hand written on obituary - 1921) RR
