Per her request, her ashes will be buried along-side her parents at the West Lawn Cemetery in Gering. Dahlman Delois Predmore was born Aug. 10, 1922, in Milburn, Neb. to Gerald Vivian and Bernice Leora (Lovitt) Predmore. Everyone knew her as "Dolly." She spent her childhood years in Sunrise, Wyo., the Black Hills of South Dakota, and Gering, where she graduated from high school in 1940. That year she married John Bartlett, and became a homemaker in Gering. She also ran Bartlett's Grocery in Gering for over 20 years. Dolly resided at the Homestead Assisted Living facility in Lakewood, Colo., since 2003 where she made many friends. Survivors include her daughter, Delois Ann of Denver; son, John and his wife Pat of Woodruff, S.C.; sister, Phyllis Robinson; nephews, Ty and Terry Robinson, and niece, Sue Rogers all of Denver; grandchildren, Annette Bland of Omaha, Troy Bartlett of Grants Pass, Ore., Lisa Currie of Wesley Chapel, Fla., Trina Bartlett and Tammy Almanza, both of Woodruff, S.C., and Rick Eckert of Gering, as well as 10 great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, and brother Lyle.
