She was 93 years old. Born on March 31, 1886 in Georgetown, CO. Mrs. Jenne received her education in Hot Sulphur Springs and married Charles S. Jenne on April 28, 1916 in Denver. She was 93 years old. Born on March 31, 1886 in Georgetown, CO. Mrs. Jenne received her education in Hot Sulphur Springs and married Charles S. Jenne on April 28, 1916 in Denver. He preceded her in death on Dec. 6, 1940. Mrs. Jenne served as Grand County Librarian for 20 years and operated the C.S. Jenne Grocery in Hot Sulphur Springs for several years and also did millinery work. She was the founder of the Grand County Pioneer Museum and was a charter member of both the Grand County Pioneers Society and Grand County Historical Association. She was a member of the Hot Sulphur Springs Womens Club and a member of the Hot Sulphur Springs Community Church. Funeral services were held Monday at the Hot Sulphur Springs Community Church. Schoenfeld Morturary of Hot Sulphur Springs was in charge of the arrangements. Pastor Vernon Wigle of Hot Sulphur Springs Community Church officiated. Pall bearers were Carroll Clark, Harry Jones, Dave Thompson, Harold Schorer, John Sheriff, and Milton Woods. Honorary pallbearers were Clyde Eslick, Bob Florquist, Rudy Just, Joe Mitchell, Con Ritchard, and Jack Mulqueen. Donations may be made to the Grand County Museum c-o Mrs. J. Sheriff P.O. Box 96 Hot Sulphur Springs, CO 80451. Mrs. Jenne is survived by a brother, Horace S. Button of Hot Sulphur Springs; six step grandchildren, including a granddaughter, Mrs. Carolyn (Edwin) Parr of Pueblo, CO.
