Funeral services were held Friday, February 6, 2009, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Minden with the Rev. Donald Becker officiating. *** Daisy was born on June 17, 1925, in Lowell, NE, to Martin and Mabel (Wilson) Andersen. She attended school in the Heartwell and Kearney area. Donald Becker officiating. *** Daisy was born on June 17, 1925, in Lowell, NE, to Martin and Mabel (Wilson) Andersen. She attended school in the Heartwell and Kearney area. On December 24, 1946, she married Alvin Kuehn and they lived and farmed north of Heartwell. They moved to Long Term Care in 2005. Alvin died in April of 2008. Daisy was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Minden. She enjoyed helping at the polling place during the election years. She made many beautiful quilts and did lots of sewing. Her favorite past time was reading books, especially the Holy Word. Survivors include two sons,Kermit Kuehn of Fort Smith, AR, and Raymond Kuehn of Holdrege; one daughter, Norma Rust and her husband John of Hastings; two daughters- in-law, Nancy Kuehn of Gulf Port, MS, and Connie Kuehn of Stromsburg, NE; seven grandchildren; and one brother, Martin Andersen and his wife Joan of Fromberg, MT. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin; son, Randy; and a sister.
