Read More	Dale Bernhard Lemke, son of Emil and Elnora (Schultz) Lemke, was born January 19, 1931, at Bloomfield, Nebraska. Dale passed away on into death, rural Creighton, Nebraska on Friday, April 25, 2014. Dale attended rural school near the family home and farmed with his father. From 1952 until 1954, Dale served his country in the United States Marines during the Korean War, and upon returning stateside, went back to working with his father. On September 10, 1957, Dale was married to Selma (Kruse) Lemker at Christ Lutheran Church, Bazile Mills, Nebraska. The couple was blessed with five children: Ron, Julie, Karen, Roger, and Jan. When Dale and Selma were first married, they lived and farmed near Lindy, Nebraska, until moving to their farm north of Creighton, Nebraska in 1963. Dale and Selma worked side by side milking cows, raising animals, and doing field work. Although Dale loved working in the field with his dear wife, he also found much enjoyment spending time with Selma, their children, and later their grandchildren, which Dale delighted in spoiling with Grandpa's love. Spirituality was a major part of Dale's life, having been baptized into the Lutheran Faith at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Bloomfield, Nebraska on July 11, 1937, and later affirming his relationship with the Lord through confirmation on April 14, 1946. Dale was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Bazile Mills, Nebraska the remainder of his adult life. Dale and Selma were the epitome of the American farm couple. They were always together, whether it was at the farm, traveling, or spending time with their family. Dale and Selma were never apart for very long, fittingly, seven weeks to the day, and nearly to the hour, while working out at the farm, Dale was called home and reunited with his dear Selma on April 25, 2014. Dale was preceded in death by: parents; wife; sister, Betty Lemke and in-laws, Lois and Myron Koenig and Sharlyn (Mrs. Herman) Kruse. Funeral services for Dale B. Lemke, of Creighton, Nebraska, were at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 3, 2014, at Christ Lutheran Church, Bazile Mills, Nebraska. Pastor Terry Huber was the officiator. Burial was in the Christ Lutheran Cemetery, Bazile Mills, Nebraska.
