Description	:	Dale Edwin Shaul 12/20/1929 - 8/23/2007 Dale Edwin Shaul, 77, went home to meet his Savior on Thursday, August 23, 2007. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 27 at Mitchell Berean Church with Pastor Scott Mathis officiating. A private family interment will be at West Lawn Cemetery prior to the service. He lived on the family ranch on Pumpkin Creek. Dale attended grade school at District 42, and graduated from Banner County High School in 1947. Dale married Ida Lou Cleveland November 24, 1950 in Geirng and lived in the old three-room house in Banner County where Dale spent his whole life; no running water nor indoor plumbing. A year later, Dale was drafted into the Army and they spent the next year in California, where Dale was stationed at Ft. Ord. After Dale was honorable discharged in 1952, they moved back to the home place in Banner County. In December 1956, they purchased an irrigated farm three miles north of Minatare, NE and lived there until the spring of 1969, when they sold that farm and moved back to Banner County. While living in Scotts Bluff County, they were the Honor Farm Family, in 1962. They moved to the Banner County ranch after the death of Dale's father in May of 1967. Dale served with ethical integrity as a County Commissioner of Banner County. He was a member of Mitchell Berean Church, serving as a Life Group leader. Dale was deeply loved by his wife Ida, of Banner County; two sons and daughters-in-law: Eddie and Judy Shaul of Harrisburg, and Brad and R; Roxie Shaul of Gering; two daughters and sons-in-law: Toni and Richard Crocker of Cheyenne, WY and Christy and Charles Meier of Marathon, FL; nine grandchildren: Cristine and Paul Braddy, Jonathan and Janelle Crocker, Rachel Crocker, Sadie and Andy Seegard, Jennifer Meier, Brady, Jacey, Lauren, and Kaelyn Shaul; eight great-grandchildren, Mika, Benjamin and Malaki Braddy, Dayton, Skye and Daniel Crocker, Lucy and Claire Seegard. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Sadie Shaul and grandson, Shawn Shaul. A memorial has been established to the church.
