Born in Meaford on January 17, 1959, he was a son of the late Howard 'Dick' and Leona (nee Seeley) Hewgill. Read More	HEWGILL, DALE FREDERICK 'HUGGY' January 17, 1959 - February 9, 2022 Dale passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at the age of 63. Born in Meaford on January 17, 1959, he was a son of the late Howard 'Dick' and Leona (nee Seeley) Hewgill. On July 25, 1981 Dale married the love his life, Betty Lynn Hale, who predeceased him in 2011. They lived and prospered for 30 years in the beautiful Beaver Valley. Together they raised two beautiful children; Ryan Christopher Hewgill (Cherie Diaz) of Clarksburg and Megan Elizabeth Leona Hewgill of Toronto. Dale is also survived by two grandsons and 'brand new baby boy Hewgill' born February 9th 2022. Dale was the dear brother of Pam Hewgill and was predeceased by his sisters Dori Anne and Sherry Lee. He will be remembered by his many aunts, uncles, cousins as well as his nieces and nephews. Dale worked proudly for many years for Bell Canada with an impeccable safety record. After leaving Bell he took a position driving a fuel truck for the CO-OP in which he enjoyed immensely until his retirement. He was a proud member of the Kinsmen community and enjoyed socializing with family and friends and participating in community events. Dale and Betty loved hosting and entertaining at their home as well as many canoe trips down the Beaver River. Over the years he has enjoyed skiing and taking advantage of the beautiful area he lived. Dale's family extends their sincere gratitude to their many friends who have been so supportive throughout this difficult time. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Dale's life will follow at a later date.
