Description	:	Dale L. Beers, 86, of Billings, passed away Sunday, Sept. 15, 2002, at his home. Dale was born in Nobel County, Ind., July 29, 1916, and moved to Billings in 1934. He married Lois Eleanor Sanderson in 1939, and they had five children, Sandra Sadowski of Tucson, Ariz., Linda Puttmann, deceased, Kent Beers of Houston, TX, Debby North of Tucson, and Greg Beers of Billings. Dale was born in Nobel County, Ind., July 29, 1916, and moved to Billings in 1934. He enjoyed fishing in the Beartooth Mountains high country and loved his nine grandchildren. Playing cards with his friends at the Hilands Club and attending the horse races at Yellowstone Downs were two of his favorite activities. He will be missed but not forgotten. Graveside services will be 9 a.m. Wednesday, Sept 18, at Mountview Cemetery. Memorial services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, at Mayflower Congregational Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Big Sky Hospice, who provided the family with such kindness. Michelotti-Sawyers has charge of arrangements. The Billings Gazette - 17 September 2002
