Description	:	Dale was born in Clinton on May 9, 1930, the daughter of Anton and Esther (Nissen) Bertramsen. She graduated from Clinton High School in 1948. She was employed at E.I. DuPont for 37 years, in the Order and Invoice Section, as purchaser of essential materials, cashier, the traffic department and later as the plant manager’s confidential secretary. She graduated from Clinton High School in 1948. She was employed at E.I. DuPont for 37 years, in the Order and Invoice Section, as purchaser of essential materials, cashier, the traffic department and later as the plant manager’s confidential secretary. She retired in 1985. Dale was a member of Friends of the Library and Zion Lutheran Church where she served on the call committee and church council as well as other committees. She was also a life time member of the Iowa State Women’s Bowling Association serving for 24 years, including 9 as President, and the Clinton Women’s Bowling Association where she served as President and Treasurer. Dale bowled a 300 game in 1963 and at that time it had been 34 years since a woman had bowled a 300 in the state of Iowa. She enjoyed bowling, golfing and ceramics. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Jerry and a sister Sharon.
