Mrs. Thomas was a 28 year employee with Peyton's Southeastern where she was a supervisor. Mrs. Thomas was the daughter of the late Gail and Evelyn Murray and was also preceded in death by a brother Larry Murray. She is survived by her sons Wade Thomas and his wife Andrea of Cleveland, Mark Thomas of St. Louis, 2 grandchildren Brady and Aiden Thomas and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A Remembrance of Life Service will be held 2pm Saturday at the North Ocoee St. Chapel of the Jim Rush Funeral Homes with Rev. Jen Newell officiating. Interment will follow in the Murray Cemetery in the Prospect Community with Wade and Mark Thomas, Robby Miller, Jason Hildebrand, Gary Bates and Steve Liner serving as casket bearers. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 until 8 at the North Chapel of the Jim Rush Funeral Homes. The family request that donations be made to Hospice of Chattanooga Foundation, P.O. Box 19269 4411 Oakwood Dr. Chattanooga TN., 37416 and or Murray Cemetery Association, make donations payable to Murray Cemetery Association, in care of Maxine Murray 4005 North Ocoee St. Cleveland Tn., 37312.
