Description	:	From Marilyn Melton Dan Harvey and the former Miss Alma Leth were married on December 7, 1910 at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Leth in the Dannevirke community. They immediately started to farm in the vicinity of Farwell where they resided for twenty-five years. In the spring of 1936, they moved to Brayton in Greeley County. They moved to Wolback in 1945. Harvey, son of Daniel and Mary Harvey, was born on a farm near Farwell, Nebraska, October 7, 1888. He received his education in the rural schools near Farwell and at the St. Paul Business College. He and Miss Alma Leth of the Dannevirke community were married on December 7, 1910, to which union three sons and a daughter were born. During the first 25 years of their married life the family lived on a farm near Farwell, and for the past 27 years have lived on farms in the Brayton and Wolbach area, and for over 7 years Mr. Harvey has managed a Feed Store in Wolbach. He and Mrs. Harvey observed their Golden Wedding Anniversary in Wolbach December 7, 1960. Mr. Harvey was a member of the Presbyterian Church and the St. Paul Lodge No. 82, AF&AM. Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Eleanor Jensen of Lincoln; two sons, Edgar of Greeley and David of Calham, Colorado; a sister, Mrs. Addie Badgely of Lodi, California; a brother, Wallace Harvey of Walla Walla, Washington; 14 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and many, many friends. He died in a Grand Island hospital Friday morning, July 5, 1963 at the age of 74 years, 8 months and 28 days. Preceding him in death were his parents, a son, Milford, two sisters, Esther Baysinger and Mary Leth, and one brother Elmer.
