Description	:	Obituary DANIEL WESTCOTT TAKEN BY DEATH Daniel H. Westcott, 89, pioneer Kittitas Valley farmer and merchant, died here yesterday afternoon at his home at 202 North Ruby Street. He had been in poor health for a number of years. He was born in Oneonta, N.Y. on September 18, 1851 and came here in 1888 to make his home. Westcott, 89, pioneer Kittitas Valley farmer and merchant, died here yesterday afternoon at his home at 202 North Ruby Street. He had been in poor health for a number of years. He married for the second time in 1908 after the death of his first wife, Fannie Westcott. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Elva K. Westcott, four sons and four daughters. They are Sadie Eastbrook, California; Frank C Westcott, Ellensburg; Mrs Clara Peebles, Spokane; Mrs Grace Lowery, Spokane; Daniel H. Jr, Kirkland; Mrs. Arline Waters, Kewa Wn; and Gordon and Billy Westcott. Billy Westcott is in the naval air service at Sandpoint. Ellensburg Daily Record: Tuesday, August, 20, 1940
