His funeral will be Tuesday November 6, at 10:30 a.m. at Messiah Lutheran Church at Broadwater with Rev. Ed Hunzeker, Pastor Jonathan Seng and Pastor Ann Bairn officiating. Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery at Broadwater. Friends may call at the Jolliffe Funeral Home at Bridgeport, Monday Nov. 5, from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.. He then lived at Alliance for several years. Dan was united in marriage to Connie Hanson, Oct. 27, 1965 at Hot Springs, S D. They moved to Broadwater 15 years ago. He was a supervisor for the State Of Nebraska Department of Roads at Bridgeport. He enjoyed stock car racing and Nebraska Football. He was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church at Broadwater. Dan is survived by his wife Connie, daughter and son-in-law Kimberly Kay and Jerry Fruth, of Louisville, Colo: Special son and his wife Tim and J J Wangler of Alliance; mother Vera Kepler of Bridgeport; sisters and brothers-in-law Grace and Ivan Boman of Bridgeport, Iona Kurth of Imperial, Eileen and Ron Sherman of Gurley, brothers and sister-in-laws; Kenneth and Shirley Kepler of Chappell, Gerald and Pam Kepler of Broadwater; Robert and Marlene Kepler of Dalton; Dwight and Charlene Kepler of Rock Springs, Wyoming; Lonnie and Eva Kepler of Dalton; Harold Kepler of Broadwater; and Larry and Joanna Kepler of Oshkosh; numerous nieces and nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father and a brother John (Infant).
