Description	:	The Herald, Piedmont, West Virginia, Friday, March 29, 1929: "Funeral services for Daniel J. Moran, aged 76 years, who died at his home at Franklin Monday afternoon, were held in St. Peter's Catholic Church Wednesday morning. Interment was in St. Peter's Cemetery. Solemn High Mass was celebrated by Rev. A. Scarpati. Rev. Edward P. McAdams, of Washington, D.C., acted as deacon, Re. J.J. Leary, of Baltimore, as sub-deacon, and Rev. Francis P. Ryan was master of ceremonies. Mr. Moran had been in poor health for a number of years and suffered considerably from asthma. ... The pallbearers were Frank Kelly, Henry Miller, John Rollins, Joseph Conroy, Michael White and Henry Nau."
