Description	:	DANIEL KLECKNER DIES AT 97 - OLDEST HICKSVILLE RESIDENT Hicksville, March 29 - Death today claimed Daniel Kleckner, 97, oldest resident of Hicksville. The body has been taken to the Perkins and Reeb funeral home to await funeral services, which will be held Wednesday at 2:30 from the Presbyterian church. Rev. William Elliott, the pastor, will officiate and burial will take place at Forest Home, where Mrs. Kleckner was buried 18 years ago. Surviving are three children: Mrs. G. M. Stahl, Hicksville, Mrs. Nettie Bowersox, Kalamazoo, Mich., and Clyde Kleckner, St. Louis, Mo. He spent his early years in the Lost Creek neighborhood, then came to Hicksville, where he followed the plasterer's trade. He plastered many of the early houses in Hicksville, remaining active at this work until after 80 years old. He was for some years a member of the Hicksville octogenarian quartet, and after his 90th birthday he sang two hymns as a part of the program after a supper at Lost Creek Presbyterian church.
