Description	:	Services Sunday A. M. For Daniel Duskin Funeral services were held Sunday morning at 10 o'clock, April 26 for Daniel L. Duskin, former resident of Seymour, and old time citizen, who passed away, April 24 in Des Moines. Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. Clifford Carter to the Ruby Funeral Home. Music was furnished by Mrs. Susie Eckels and Mrs. Florice Shepherd accompanied by Mary Burchett. Pallbears were: George Elmore, W. O. Bateman, Harry Bowers, Jim Winger, H. S. Pallbears were: George Elmore, W. O. Bateman, Harry Bowers, Jim Winger, H. S. Eckels and Tom Crossland. Daniel L. Duskin was born June 20, 1861 in Wayne County. He was the son of John and Elen Duskin. He departed this life April 24, 1942 at the home of his son Earnest E. Duskin in Des Moines, at the age of 80 years, 10 months and 4 days. He was united in marriage to Mary Gump in 1880. He was preceded in death by his wife and one daughter, Mrs. Victoria Steffey, in 1924. He is survived by two sons, Ernest of Des Moines, Oren of Wellman and one daughter, Mrs. Frank Boyles of Mansing, Idaho. He spent 40 years of his life as a coal miner. He was a kind and loving friend and will be greatly missed by those who knew him. Interment was made in Southlawn Cemetery.
