Description	:	Funeral services were held from the Baptist Church in Anamoose, Sunday afternoon for Daniel Lang who passed away at his home in Anamoose Wednesday morning June 22nd. Rev. Buehler of Harvey officiated at the services which were in charge of the Waydeman Funeral Home. He had been in poor health for the past year. Read More	Funeral services were held from the Baptist Church in Anamoose, Sunday afternoon for Daniel Lang who passed away at his home in Anamoose Wednesday morning June 22nd. Rev. Buehler of Harvey officiated at the services which were in charge of the Waydeman Funeral Home. He had been in poor health for the past year. Daniel Lang, age 74 years, 1 month and 29 days, was born in Russia on April 23, 1875. As a young man of 16 he came to this country and settled in Scotland, S. D. He was married to Miss Emilie Schenkenberger, in California, in 1899. In the fall of 1899 they came to North Dakota, and homesteaded nine miles southwest of Anamoose. Here they farmed until 1941, when he retired and moved to Anamoose. To this union were born seven children, two of them preceding their father in death. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife and five children: Two daughters and three sons. Mrs. William Kessler of Harvey, Mrs. Ted Weltz of Anamoose, Mr. Gust Lang of Denhoff, Mr. Henry Lang of Anamoose and Mr. Johnnie Lang of Harvey.
