Description	:	Miss Beryl Ensor, 90, formerly of 120 Panhandle Road, Elizabethton, went home to be with her Lord on Monday, July 18, 2011 at Ivy Hall Nursing Home following an extended illness. She was the daughter of the late George and Amanda Grindstaff Ensor and was born in Carter County. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Kate Ensor, Hazel Davis and Beulah Myers. Read More	Miss Beryl Ensor, 90, formerly of 120 Panhandle Road, Elizabethton, went home to be with her Lord on Monday, July 18, 2011 at Ivy Hall Nursing Home following an extended illness. She was the daughter of the late George and Amanda Grindstaff Ensor and was born in Carter County. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Kate Ensor, Hazel Davis and Beulah Myers. Miss Ensor was a homemaker who counted her family as among the most important things in her life. She loved to garden and work with flowers, sew and make quilts. She was a member of Dungan Chapel Baptist Church. Miss Ensor is survived by several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; great-great nieces and great-great-nephews and great-great-great nieces and great-great-great nephews, including her caregiver and special great-niece, Etta B. Perry and her husband, Harry, Elizabethton. A graveside service for Miss Ensor will be conducted on Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at 11:00 AM in the Ensor Cemetery with Rev. Dennis Wilson officiating. Active pallbearers will be Glen Arnold, Eddie Spears, Tom Oxendine, Gordon Rogers, Joel Veeneman and Adrian Dugger. Honorary pallbearers will be Judy Deloach and the staff of Ivy Hall Nursing Home. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery at 10:55 AM Wednesday. Friends may call at the home of her great-niece, Etta Perry, 120 Panhandle Road, Elizabethton.
