Read More	Danny Wayne Mehrhoff NOVEMBER 25, 1958 ~ JULY 2, 2018 (AGE 59) Danny Wayne Mehrhoff, age 59, of Centerville, Iowa, passed away Monday, July 2, 2018 at the University of Iowa Hospitals, Iowa City. Danny Wayne was born on November 25, 1958 in Centerville, Iowa, the son of Kenneth Wayne Mehrhoff Jr. and Joyce Joann (Thomas) Mehrhoff. He graduated from Centerville High School with the Class of 1977. He was the 2nd boy to be selected for the High School All-Star Baseball team. He furthered his education at Indian Hills Community College, where he also played on the baseball team. Danny Wayne was united in marriage to Cathy Bailey on June 27, 1987. To this union, their daughter Kaylee was born. Danny Wayne was employed with Cargill for 20 years as an Electrician. He had an infectious smile, which would brighten up the room. He never made a big deal about anything. He was a laid back person. He loved spending time outdoors. Danny Wayne was an avid sports fan, who enjoyed watching the Indian Hills Community College Baseball team and the Kansas City Chiefs. He was also a former member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles in Centerville. Left to honor Danny Wayne's memory are his father, Ken Mehrhoff of Centerville; his daughter, Kaylee (Kelly) O'Rourke of Cedar Rapids; two sisters, Donna (Bobby) Clark of Centerville and Debbie (Mike) Milks of Merriam, Kansas; two aunts, Sandra Johnson and Sharon Henshaw; two nephews, Brandon Clark and Brent (Meho) Clark; two nieces, Brooke (Anthony) Smothers and Sarah Milks; as well as several cousins and friends whom will all miss him dearly. Danny Wayne was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents; and his mother, Joyce Joann Mehrhoff. Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM, Saturday, July 7, 2018 at Lange Funeral Home and Crematory in Centerville with Pastor Larry Hudson officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Cincinnati. A visitation will take place Friday, July 6, 2018 at Lange Funeral Home in Centerville with family greeting friends from 5:00PM-8:00PM. Memorials have been established to the family of Danny Mehrhoff, and may be mailed to Lange Funeral Home, 1900 South 18th Street, Centerville, Iowa 52544.
