Description	:	Nodaway Pair Die After Car Wreck Mrs. L. Bowman, 34, and her 5 year old daughter, Darlene of Nodaway were fatally injured in a head on automobile collision which occured 8 miles Norhtwest of Gravity last Friday. Following the accident, Mrs. Bowman was rushed to the Creston hospital where she passed away a short time later. Darlene was also taken to the hospital and lived until late Sunday evening. Henson suffered minor injuries and a passenger in his car Harold Willis of Nodaway received cuts and bruises. Mr. Bowman received a fractured knee. Darlene, who passed away Sunday evening suffered a fractured skull. The youngest member of the family, Shirley, age 10 months escaped serious injury. The fifth member of the family, Kenneth, 15, was visiting in Bedford at the time of the accident, thus escaped the tragedy. The obituary for Mrs. Bowman will be found printed in the Nodaway section of the Free Press this week. Funeral serviced for Darlene were held Wednesday Afternoon.
