Description	:	Darlene Gloria De Clercq, beloved wife of Richard Ney De Clercq of Lethbridge, passed away at the St. Michael's Palliative Care Centre on Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013, at the age of 67 years. Besides her loving husband, Darlene is survived by 2 children, 2 grandchildren, her father, 1 brother and numerous nieces and nephews. Darlene was predeceased by her mother, Olga Emily Siewert and her sister Della Marie Stuber. Darlene was born and educated in Hanna. Darlene was predeceased by her mother, Olga Emily Siewert and her sister Della Marie Stuber. Darlene was born and educated in Hanna. After high school she worked at the Hanna hospital and this led to her enrolling in the Nursing Aide School in Calgary. She graduated in 1966 and began working in Calgary. In 1967 Darlene married her lifelong husband, Richard, and they moved to Claresholm together where they adopted their two children. As a family they moved to Fort Macleod in 1975 where she worked as a child care provider and, in her later years, a personal home care assistant. Darlene loved doing crafts, going fishing, and cruising the world. She was an avid crossword puzzler and Farmville fan. She was passionate about camping and would go anywhere, anytime, and with any friend who would party, especially if it was in the mountains or near a lake. She was a dog lover and always had one around; she will be missed by her devoted Duke. A special mention and thank you to Deb Pinder, Diane Buzunis and the dearly departed Doreen Veno for their friendship and support over the years. A memorial service will be held at the Hanna and District Community Centre at 503 Fourth St. W., Hanna, at a later date. =============================
