Darlene Lavon was born on May 5, 1929, in Walnut, Iowa, the daughter of William Steve and Edna Emma (Petersen) Pauley. She was united in marriage to Marvin Jorgensen in 1947, and to this union three children were born, Michael, Mark and Roxy. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Brayton. Darlene loved flowers and collecting roosters. She looked forward to spending time with her family, and hosted countless holiday gatherings. Darlene is survived by her 3 children; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and 2 brothers. She is preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Holly Jorgensen; and brother, Donald Pauley. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, January 27, 2016, at the First Baptist Church in Brayton. Burial will be in the Exira Cemetery. = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =
